Sundance Juicer For Cyclists Review

I know this blog is more about cycling rather than the best juicers. But having gotten a lot of emails and queries, I just had to post a review on a nifty “kick ass” company called Sundance Industries.

Sundance Industries goes a long way when it comes to wheatgrass juicers. In fact, the Original Wheateena Wheatgrass Juicer is a Sundance Wheatgrass Juicer. This was way back in the 1960′s. Now close to 40 years later, they’re still at it, improving and perfecting all kinds of wheatgrass juicers.

If you’ve been a long time wheatgrass fanatic and you haven’t heard much about Sundance wheatgrass juicers, it’s probably because they make more high powered commercial juicers than they do manual or home use juicers.

Much of their product line features high powered juicers fit for juice bars and where wheatgrass juicing is continuous and speed and efficiency are needed. The Wheateena Workhorse II, The Wheateena Marvel “Green” and “Red” label, The Wheateena Special edition are just some of the high powered juicers featured in their 10 product catalogue that offers a lifetime trouble-free service.

While these industrial or commercial Sundance Wheatgrass Juicers aren’t something you’ll likely end up with at home, there is one particular Sundance juicer that needs to be highlighted in case the need for a high powered juicer arises.

And that is the Sundance Wheateena Workhorse Electric Wheatgrass Juicer. Definitely a cut above the rest.

This little baby features 91 RPM and torque of 130-inch pounds. is 11 inches in height and has a drive unit that is 10 inches long, 8 inches high and 6 inches wide.

What this all translates to is

  • Continuous pulp expulsion
  • 3 1/2 ounces per minute for your typical wheatgrass, barley, leafy greens, grain grasses, herbs and sprouts
  • Durability, power and efficiency all rolled into one

Now i know what you’re thinking, “something as heavy duty as this would probably be extremely loud and noisy.” The good news is it isn’t. Having tried and tested it, it’s quite surprising something as powerful as this Sundance Wheatgrass Juicer is, can be this quiet.

All in all, aside from the fact that you would need to shell out a significant amount of money, I guess there are just somethings you can really do have everything you want all in one. Well worth the price if you want quick results fast.

Rodgers delivers Top 5 at Blacks Creek

Brad Rodgers scored his first top placing as a Senior rider by sprinting to a 5th place finish at the Black Creek Road Race today. Rodgers good finish comes after some bad luck earlier this year forcing the young gun to DNF. The good finish will certainly be a confidence booster as the bulk of the season is still ahead.

It was also Brad’s first road race with his new Orbea Onix which he certainly praised after the event. All of us at team IMT-TitleOne are very proud of Brad and his great finish today.

Parker and Casella finished behind the lead group in the elite race. Parker’s bad luck continued as he flatted with less than 10 miles to go. Casella recovering from tendonitis that kept him off the bike pretty much since the Hillsdale event was positive about the day “Steve was riding really good all day and flatted at the wrong time, but he’s there, really close as his form is starting to come on. He rode towards the front all day and I was glad to be able to help him along the way. I just am missing the race miles in my legs and hope I’ll be 100% down the road. Brad saved the day for the team and we were proud of him for his awesome finish today.”
